Manchester Craft & Design Centre is celebrating graduate talent from across the UK. I am delighted to announce that I have been chosen as one of a small number of graduates to showcase their work.
Resident maker Jessica Owen, has offered me a showcase in her studio from the 8th of February. My sliced forms are the pieces that have caught her eye. See the photograph above. These pieces are handbuilt stoneware forms with porcelain. Using diamond pads I finish by polishing the two faces of each piece resulting in a beautiful contrast between interior surface and face.
